Although Macross frontier is a pretty famous anime (I've heard about it so many times I thought I would have to watch it eventually) I still am super impressed by what I see. I'm not really sure when the last time an anime made me care about both female mc's.... one minute i'm rooting for Sheryl and the next im rooting for Ranka. Alto is a great MC because for its mecha-action genre, partly because he is pretty clutch when it comes down to the important moments. He shares the wonderful gift and curse of being dense as a led block when it comes to women, which provides with much speculation on who he really ends up loving (There are so many die hard Ranka fans and Sheryl fans the arguments could go on forever). If you are a big fan of Mecha, Action, Shonen-ish plot as well as mixed in with some romance, this is definitely for you. To all the Harem lovers out there, its not really a harem but still with the same feel, so I would highly advise watching it. I would go far enough to say I will be watching the rest of the macross series because of this anime! Also, some great music as far as the Ost goes... Well for a first blog post I think this went pretty well :D I will leave you with my favorite (and probably everyone's favorite song) from the series. :)
